The Mid-America Xtreme 3-day Youth Camp is facilitated by a group of highly qualified Adventure racers, who have made it their team goal to host a series wilderness camps for at risk youth.
Our youth camps serve at risk youth ranging in age from 9 - 14 years of age. Youth enter our program through a referral process, conducted by county courts, school districts and human services.
The referral process includes a fundamental asset assessment, a "meet and greet" session with family and/or guardian, along with a fundamental asset post assessment.
Our youth camps are goal specific, focusing on building fundamental assets through a variety of experiential exercises. Challenging Youth, to cooperate, collaborate and problem solve as a team.
