Urban Tadpole Information
Urban Tadpole
Event Description
Have you ever been on a bike? Do you like adventure? Do you like having fun with friends? Get together a team and enter Milwaukee’s newest event, the Laacke & Joys Urban Tadpole. Coed teams of two, three or four will bike, run, and take part in mystery events in an urban setting. The race, and we use that term loosely, will start and end at Laacke & Joys Downtown Milwaukee store on Water Street..

Training? What training! If you even just walk the family dog, you are ready to rock. We won’t even suck up your whole day! The Tadpole starts and 10 am and will end around noon. You can go home and take a nap or join in all the other fun events going on like watching teams competing in our longer race, the Urban Frog, finish. Did we mention prizes and a party? Besides the usual trophies, teams will be eligible to win prizes like Yakima car top boxes, kayaks a trip from Midwest Airlines Vacations and more. We’ll have a big post-race bash with a band and beer. Cost of entry is $40 per team member ($50 after May 1st) which includes all the above. Still thinking about it? We’ll have clinics to get you started. This event will fill up fast so get your team together today.
