Milwaukee and the surrounding area will be the setting for the 4th
annual Laacke & Joys/Mid-America Extreme Urban Tadpole Adventure Race
on Saturday, June 16th. This year’s presenting sponsors is Columbia
Sportwear. Also sponsoring this year will be Orthopaedic Hospital of
Wisconsin, Outpost Natural Foods, WTMJ-AM, and Midwest Airlines
Vacations. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Midwest Athletes
Against Childhood Cancer (Macc Fund).
Teams can be configured in two, three or four-person co-ed teams and will bike, run, paddle on the Milwaukee River and experience mystery events. The race will take 2-3 hours to complete so it’s a great way to get your feet wet in adventure racing. We’ll have all kinds a scwag to give away including Yakima car top boxes, kayaks, a trip from Midwest Airlines Vacations and more. Plus, we’ll have a big bash at the end! Registration will be capped at 100 teams between this race and The Urban Frog so register early to reserve your space. We’ve even rolled back the entry fee!
